This kit is for HP Laserjet 5L/6L owners who have a broken exit sensor.  Typically this repair is needed after someone clears a paper jam inside the fuser and finds a black finger from the sensor falls out or breaks off in the process.  The printer will no longer print and thinks there is a paper jam constantly.

You can look inside the fuser section under the shield where the paper comes through at the bottom.  In the center you should  see an open cavity with a finger sticking up.  If the finger is missing then your exit sensor is broken off and you need to replace it.

This kit will show you how to replace the exit sensor and get your Laserjet 5L / 6L back in action.  This repair will take 30-45 minutes to complete.
