HP Laserjet 4000/4050 Main Tray
Groaning Feed Repair Kit
This is a clutch replacement kit for your HP Laserjet 4000/4050 printer, main tray where if you have a tray that is groaning when trying to pickup paper this kit is for you.
To test the clutch do the following, remove the tray, and note the pickup roller in the tray. Remove the roller and alongside the roller is a clutch as shown in the kit photo. Remove it and then reinstall the roller. Try reinstalling the tray and feeding a paper for print and see if the groaning is gone. If the groaning is gone, the clutch is in need of replacement. You may want to consider ordering a set of new pickup rollers while doing this repair as well.
