Description   HP Laserjet 4000 4050 Groaning Tray Clutch Repair Kit   Features This is a clutch replacement kit for your HP Laserjet 4000/4050 printer, main tray where if you have a tray that is groaning when trying to pickup paper this kit is for you. Another symptom that may be seen is the paper comes out of the tray just an inch or so and stops w/ a paper jam.  This is usually the symptoms with a bad/failing clutch. To test the clutch do the following, remove the tray, and note the pickup roller in the tray. Remove the roller and alongside the roller is a clutch as shown in the kit photo. Remove it and then reinstall the roller. Try reinstalling the tray and feeding a paper for print and see if the groaning/paper jam in the tray is gone. If the groaning is gone/jams stop happening, the clutch is in need of replacement. This kit comes with the clutch and 2 feed rollers for the tray.
