This kit is for HP Laserjet P3005 printers that have a good fuser that heats the paper but finding the print quality to be poor due to damage to the sleeve.

 

The way to ensure you have a print issue with the fuser is to do a "1/2 page test". Simply set your printer to print a test page and when it grabs the paper and gets into the printer and the paper is under the toner cartridge but not out the fuser turn off the printer. Now open the toner door remove the toner and inspect the paper under the toner. If it looks great with no flaws then the fuser sleeve and rollers are the problem. Some printers will sound like wrinkling paper when the sleeve is damaged as the printer operates.

The fuser repair kit will not correct fusers that do not heat the paper or if you have a damaged orange pressure roller that rides under the sleeve. If you have a damaged pressure roller that rides under the sleeve, you need the deluxe kit on the site.
